Just as the experts predicted, Shropshire has continued to see more snowfall around the county after the first flakes on Friday. A yellow weather warning for snow and ice will be in place across Shropshire from 3pm on Sunday, December 4 to midday on Monday, December 5.

A Stoke-on-Trent City Council spokesman said: "Our gritting teams have been out today and will be back out again tonight due to snow and ice. They'll be spreading salt across all routes to keep the city moving. There’s a yellow Met Office weather warning for snow and ice in place until midday tomorrow."
As well as snow next week, they have also said that there could be snow early this Friday, as temperatures are predicted to drop to -3C. There is already a weather warning for snow and ice across large parts of England, including Essex, with up to 5cm of snow predicted on Friday. In Ipswich, temperatures will reach a low of -4C on Sunday.
