I often get the question if TRT Method is 'desensitizing'. My answer is always 'NO'. Desensitizing is flooding your horse with a (scary) object over and over until they don't respond. But for me, using the tools around your horse is not about getting them used to something. You are not using the flag to make sure your horse knows what to do around that specific flag.
