🔥 In a wildfire, every second counts. This summer, the EU prepositioned firefighters from across Europe in high-risk areas – including Greece – ready to respond immediately when wildfires broke out. Six teams from different EU countries worked side by side with Greek firefighters, not only tackling fires but also training together and sharing expertise. This close cooperation strengthens our collective capacity to face future emergencies and builds a stronger, more coordinated European response
