The NBA basketball season is underway and we here at the Sacramento History Museum are, of course, rooting for the home team! It has been a rough season so far but Alex letterpress printed something for the @sacramentokings who are on a 3 game win streak! We had to get out some large wood type that was made in the late 1880s by the Hamilton Wood Type Company for this occasion. The typeface is French Clarendon. The text reads “GO KINGS LIGHT THE BEAM!” The beam appears over the Golden 1 Center wh
