What a difference a week makes! We planted these shade-loving bare root perennials just a week ago and they have already produced some good growth. This shady combination idea includes two ferns, two aquilegias and two liriopes in a 30cm pot together, we also planted another aquilegia separately. These perennials should produce a pretty show of foliage and hopefully some flowers this year. Next year it will grow back and be more established.
